Ingredients
Whey Protein Concentrate: The cheapest but normally the most common form of whey protein. Concentrates typically have a low level of fat and cholesterol, but have higher levels of bioactive compounds as well as carbohydrates in the form of lactose.
Whey Protein Isolate: Is the highest form of pure protein, the quickest digesting, and virtually free of lactose, fat, carbs, and cholesterol. Due to the pureness of the protein it is also very rich in Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAA’s).
Whey Protein Hydrolysate: Allows your body to consume amino acids more rapidly, which maximizes nutrient delivery to muscle tissue.
Natural and Artificial Flavors: Providing the taste and sweetness for the product, but coming from natural sources. Artificial flavoring is any substance thats function is to impart flavor, but does not come from natural sources, such as spices, fruits, vegetables, etc.
Lecithin: A substance that occurs in both animal and plant tissue, which is attracted by both water and fat. It is used to smooth out food textures, dissolve powders, and also helps repel sticking materials.
Inulin: A starchy substance that does not get digested in the stomach, it actually goes to the bowels, where bacteria can use it to grow. The bacteria it grows is a special kind that is associated with improving bowel function as well as general health. It also decreases the body’s ability to make certain kinds of fats.
Xanthan Gum: A polymer composed of sugar residues that is used as a thickening and stabilizing agent in a lot of foods and supplements.
Cellulose Gum; A thickening agent that also improves texture, stabilize foam, keeps sugar from crystallizing, bind water, and more. It is used frequently in foods and supplements.
Sucralose: An artificial sweetener and sugar substitute. Your body does not fully break down the majority of digested sucralose, therefore it is calorie free.
Rob A (Stevia): The sweetest of all natural compounds in the stevia leaf. Reb A is actually 200 times sweeter than sugar, so it makes for the best calorie free natural sweetener.
