Description
If you're putting yourself through intense training, intra blast by NutraBio is something you need to read about. In each scoop of Intra Blast you're getting a loaded recovery mix that features branch chain amino acids, essential amino acids, glutamine, 2g of betaine anhydrous, and support hydration.
The idea behind this product is to fuel your performance by sipping throughout each training session. Branch chain amino acids mixed with essential amino acids can help activate muscle protein synthesis, aid in muscle growth, boost power and strength, and accelerate your recovery. Intra Blast, which has intra in the name, is designed to be taken intra workout, but it can also be taken after with similar results.
Branch chain amino acids may be the most important part of the formula, which is why they're dosed at 7.2g. Branch chains can help with perceived muscle soreness and increase the rate of recovery (1). Essential amino acids can aid in muscular adaptation via protein turnover increases (2) which is why they're added to the formula by the NutraBio crew. Added glutamine is a nice touch to an otherwise complete formula. Glutamine can help with strength and power, as well as boosting plasma antioxidant capacity (3).
Electrolytes are necessary to speed up recovery, decrease muscle soreness, and decrease muscle contractions post exercise and although overlooked, are a primary piece of the Intra Blast formula.
